Homemade Coconut Laddu is a yummy North Indian dish prepared by using the condensed milk and grated or desiccated coconut and ghee. This is a mouth-watering dessert dish and could be made on festivals and special occasions. It is a simple Laddu recipe which you could try at home and it won’t take much of your valuable time. It will be loved by the adults and kids alike. One more good point about the dessert is that it could be stored in an airtight container for increasing the shelf life. So, try this wonderful recipe with your dear ones to relish good days.
Step 1) Take a non-stick vessel & heat the ghee. Include grated coconut (desiccated) & condensed milk & combine it properly. Then heat the mixture. Now add green cardamom powder. Combine properly & stir occasionally. Cook over the low flame. Step 2) When you find that the mix is achieving thickness, begin stirring it on time interval. Stir it till the fat leaves the sides of coconut & mixture starts to leave the sides. Detach the pan from the heat & place it to a deep vessel. Allow it to cool. Step 3) When the mixture is cooled, bring a little portion of the mixture between the palms & shape it in the form of a little round ball. The same way, shape the rest portion of mix to laddus. When done, roll the laddus one after the other in a grated coconut & decorate it with dry fruits. Step 4) If you wish you could refrigerate the Laddus or serve them fresh.
